Box Office opens 30 minutes before the doors. Routinely, doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm unless otherwise noted. All shows 21 and over. Tickets available:

Doug Fir, Portland Oregon
With its log cabin themed remodel of a 70's motor lodge by local architectural stars, Skylab, Doug Fir certainly runs the risk of being too slick and stylized. Still, no detail has been left to chance, and perhaps that's why it works. As far as a venue goes, they can't be beat. Still, no detail has been left to chance, and perhaps that's why it works. As far as a venue goes, they can't be beat. With almost every show under $15, and tuned-in booking that gets the bands on the cusp of wider exposure, you certainly get a lot of bang for your buck. If that all wasn't enough, the room is small enough that every show feels intimate, and the acoustics are incredible with the baffled ceilings and dampened walls. Hats off to the folks running the place, this may be the best venue in town.

Doug Fir, Portland Oregon
I'm always impressed with the shows that the Doug Fir is able draw onto its stage. Their sound crew does a good job at no making it sound like a muddy mess, and the whole atmosphere is intensely awesome. I definitely just going to check out the music, because they always pull great bands, even if you've never heard of any of the bands playing that night.
