What is Concert Co-Op?

Concert Co-Op is the next generation of concert listings, currently tracking over 140 venues and 20,000 bands in Portland Oregon and Austin Texas. The Co-Op provides music fans with all the information they need to get out to shows. More than listings, Concert Co-Op allows users to learn about new bands, write reviews, buy music, and receive email reminders for shows they want to see.

List your shows

When you list shows on Concert Co-Op they get exposure in more places than just concertcoop.com. Concert Co-Op also supplies listing data to the web sites of venues, promoters, other bands; community sites like The Year of Austin Music; and on Live Music Finder widgets on the sites of local businesses. So when your band's information and show data is entered correctly on Concert Co-Op, it's correct everywhere.

Keep your fans up to date

When a fan rates your band 4 or 5 stars on Concert Co-Op, they'll automatically receive an email update when you announce a new show or the details of an existing show changes.

Site Services

With Concert Co-Op Site Services installed on your band's web site, when you enter shows on Concert Co-Op they automatically appear on your site. No more learning HTML or bugging your web guy when your schedule changes. Submit or update a show on Concert Co-Op, and the changes will automatically be made on your web site. Concert Co-Op also keeps a record of all your past shows, so an archive can be supplied seamlessly to your site. Getting set up for these services are easy and they're free.

Band Blog

As a band, you and your bandmates are tuned in to the best upcoming bands and the latest trends. By keeping a blog on Concert Co-Op, you can stay at the front of fans minds by writing reviews for venues, albums, and other bands that will show up in our listings. Each of your bandmates can keep their own account that feeds in to your overall blog, and anyone can read the posts online, or subscribe via email or RSS.

Smart Mailing List

Concert Co-Op makes mailing lists simple by handling all subscribes and unsubscribes. Cut and paste your current list into Concert Co-Op and it will be combined with your blog. As the admin, you can select which blog posts get forwarded to your mailing list.

Advertise your shows

Advertising with Concert Co-Op lets you directly reach people who want to go to shows, and it's as simple as finding a great image and adding a few lines of text. Spend only as much as you want. The frequency your shows' ads will be displayed is based directly on how much all advertisers have spent in your area. Also, ads for shows can be included in our Live Music Finder widgets that are in on the web sites of bars and restaurants near the show.

Ever gone to a city and been surprised by the venue you’re playing? Concert Co-Op keeps detailed records of who has played where in Portland and Austin, so you can look through a venue's show history for bands you know. Or, look up a band and see where they played.
